Texas Longhorn Steer
by Boyd Greene on 4/15/2009 8:30:02 AM

How could you have classic western trail drives without Texas Longhorn Steer? They have filled many epic movies with their wild and rugged demeanors. Their temperaments are fitting to what we have grown to know as the Wild West. No less sturdy a breed could have survived the Badlands. Longhorns have cemented themselves into the lore of the West just as gunfighters, Indians and cowboys.

Wow, I love that T shape--very powerful. Enough to survive the Badlands indeed! I'm going to send it to my friend Trauman, who grew up in Minnesota/ North Dakota, and whose initial is of course, the symbol T.

His blog is at: http://www.flashinterviews.com/ btw

Thanks! :)

I love the speckled hide, and that look in his eyes with his head tilted just a little bit. Like the Moona Lisa ;)
