Sweet Southern Magnolia is a painting inspired by one the South’s most splendid flowers. Poets, authors, movie producers and song writers have all fallen under the spell of this charming and delightful flower. Now, I too have become fascinated with this simple beauty of southern distinction. I loved painting the translucency of the petals and the inner glow of candle light in the low light of dusk.
